Guro was the child of Torgrim Østensson b. abt 1844 of Norway, and GuroJonsdatter b. 1845 of Holtan, Norway.  Torgrim and Guro were married in1866.  Other children of Torgrim and
Guro were:

Jon 1866-68;
Jon 1868-84 (drowned);
Aslaug 1871-1959 who married Isak Espedalen of Gjerpen;
Østen 1877-1959;
Ingeborg 1879-1956;
Ingeborg 1881-  ?      who married Petter Tveitan of Nissedal;

Kari  1887-1965;
Åste 1889-  ?

Guro was the child of Torgrim Østensson b. abt 1844 of Norway, and Guro Jonsdotter b. 1845
of Holtan, Norway.  Torgrim and Guro were married in 1866.  Torgrim's father, Østen
Østensson, came from either Kleppe or Gåserud in Lunde, while his mother, Aslaug Torgrimsd., came
from Roe in Bø.  Children of Torgrim and Guro are:

Aslaug 1871-1959 who married Isak Espedalen of Gjerpen;
Guro f 1874, g 1897 m Hans Olsson Langkås i Lunde;

Guro og Hans Langkås frå Lunde, som skreiv seg Hans Nordli, budde ved Årnes.

The Bygdebok for Sauherad, volume III, p. 779 indicates that Guro lived 1874 to 1951, which
is correct.  The book Notre Æetter i Lunde, p. 170 indicates the years were 1874-1955.
